Tunu East Greenland

Ersersaaneq shows some of the unique objects of the largest ethnographic collections from East Greenland.

Here among from the Danish naval officer and Arctic explorer Gustav Holm's collection, from his famous Umiaq expedition, 1883-1885. The expedition, that include collect special pieces of clothing, sewing implements, furniture, hunting and fishing equipment, art and a number of ornate objects.
Also collections from Carl Hartvig Ryder are represented among this East Greenlandic Ersersaaneq protocol. Ryder made the Hekla expedition to East Greenland in 1891-1892.

As the collection is spread in different nations of the world, suppose Ersersaaneq to collect a few pieces of the collection in one place.
